Inexplicable tactics by Schleck. I can only think that he was on a bad day. Or maybe he's keeping his powder dry for later on in the week. Boardman is right; Schleck needs more time than he has, and Contador is looking as though he is getting stronger relative to everyone else.

One thing thats noticeable about the pre race build up - everyone said how weak astana were and how strong radio shack are, but Astana have looked brilliant all race and the shack are no where.

Id like to know a lot more about team tactics, like whether teams pin point stages to stick together and let teams like astana have their days in the sun or whether astana really are as good as theyve looked? Also Id like to know where the hell serge pawels has been all tdf?

Well, that was a pretty huge omission. You could say that for nearly everybody here - our respective "biggest thing" might be the daily commute, our club time trials or a polo league.

Obviously no one on here is close to him, but if you talk of the podium and are stuggling to maintain a place in the top 20 how is that anything other than shit?
