South London Bike Polo (Tues/Thurs/Sun) - Newington gardens SE1 / Agnes Riley gardens SW12

i'm not in for tonight, but just to let you's know - last thursday morning i called southwark council, and also two councillors for that ward, to report that the lights were gone at newington gardens and needed to be fixed as soon as possible.

i chatted with a rep from the parks dept and got an action raised on their system, i have that number stored. called them back today - their action time is 7 days, so it might be sorted by tonight, if not it should be sorted out by tomorrow night at the latest.

can someone please report back from there from tonight's session, or even just if you're passing by that way on your way home, and take note if the lights are working or not.

if they're not back up by next wednesday, i'll ring the parks dept again and find out whats going on.

was gonna ring today but a) was fucked up, and b) was thinking the floodlights might be motion sensitive? like burglar lights... they'd need people on the courts for the lights to come on.
