Wanted: Cup and cone rear hub, 700c rim

I'm looking for a rear hub with cup and cone bearings, preferably high flange and with 36 holes. Eagle-eyed readers will have noticed that I previously stated a preference for 40h, but I've changed my mind because of rim availability. Spacing is (relatively) unimportant because I'm happy to cold set my frame. Any sort of reasonable condition is fine, age is not an issue. And thereafter a 700c rim with a corresponding number of holes, not bent. Hub is the first priority.

Looking to pay £15-20 for each, but unless I get a hub I won't be getting the rim.

I've got a couple, both 40 hole, the smaller one if fixed/free, larger flanged one double fixed, both come with track nuts and a lockring, need a damn good clean and small one missing a bearing shield, £15 and £20 respectively, collect SE1/Waterloo

Having spent the past god-knows-how-long looking for nice 40h rims, I would seriously advise getting a 36h hub rather than a 40h just to broaden your options... unless you have some great ideas where to get 40h rims from, in which case let me know, please! (sorry hutch, not trying to ruin your sale but I still haven't been able to build up the airlite I bought a couple of months ago for this reason!)

Hey, that's sound advice Andy, sorry to hear you still don't have a suitable rim! I was simply offering what was asked for, OP sounded most keen on 40H...

That's true, but I've since come to the same conclusion as Andy. The only 40h rims I've found are Rigida Sputniks, nice and heavy duty but heavy-weight with it.
I've changed my mind a bit, and decided 36 would be far better. Sorry for the inconvenience, first post changed to reflect my fickleness.

Bump. Still looking for a 36h hub (didn't win a very pretty Airlite on evilbay)
