Yeah completely. Arm was hannging on by the muscle and not the ligaments.
Really hurt. When it happened, three drunk guys crossed the road to see if I was alright. Nice to know some people are nice.
Thought as much... I had one ages a go but the doc's missed it, it wasnt until years later that when I was in for something else a doctor noticed the lump, had a look and told me I had previously had a type 2 separation, wondered why it hurt for about 3 months... sounds like yours was worse though..

Been riding over thirty years with shattered dreams and broken hopes.
Quiet in the snake, Sir is sobbing. -

I'm one of those weird people that haven't managed to break a single bone.

After getting run off the road on Waterloo Bridge I rode it out for months with a broken ankle, 3 cracked ribs and two dislocated thumbs.
Made me feel like a double hard man.

Worst off I ever had saw me fracture both wrists and take a massive chunk out of my arse. Rode home 20 miles like that and could barey grip the bars. I needed to ride out the saddle at times because i had a huge hole where earlier I'd had an arse cheek but was in agaony everytime I tried too. Excrutiating.

I have ridden with a fracture collar bone (basically got bored taking the bus after getting hit), but normally I don't ride after i am injured unless it is a commute.

Ridden with a broken wrist, only briefly before it was put in the cast. Then rode with a cast after the first two weeks. Don't recommend it, really.
My left hand is still fucked after breaking the pinky finger and the outside bone through the knuckle. Stayed off the bike till the pins were removed but I ride it now. Still can't make a fist, or straighten the finger out and my grip strength is shit. But the NHS has given me loads of putty and exercises to do to make it better.
I'd like to think that eventually it will be back to normal.

Oh, I'm bearing weight alright.
I ride fixed sometimes up to the park with this set-up. It's a weird feeling after speed humps when the weight of the trailer and passengers makes the rear wheel skid forwards. My two kids are probably heavier than your littl'un though.

I do not understand this.

It skids. But forward ie. pushed by the weight from behind, on his own accord. I think he meant involuntary skids.

I think it's when the bike's momentum through weight pushes faster than you pedal and so the back wheel skids... Am I right?
