I was just going to add that a hand crafted satchel that is of that quality is bloody cheap...as long as it was well looked after you could probably get a couple of hundred years out of one...so not a bad price... (as long as pirates didn't make off with the silver buckles!!;D)
the guys that work at hermes are trained there and once you are in ...you are in,...it's a 7 year apprenticeship I think, thats the difference between buying a vuitton and a hermes, vuittons are made in bangkok by very talented ladies that compared to the average wage are better paid...Just because it's in thailand doesn't mean it's a sweat shop...however...vuitton are still getting them made at about £50 a bag and knocking them out at a grand...though the hermes bag is made by someone that has got thousands of hours experience in one of the worlds oldest leather workshops....thats what is sooo terrible...
anyhow....your bags are nicer...you won't ever see someone with the same bag...
