Hi there Hilary,
just wondering if you know what type of BBs are fitted to the:
JACQUES ANQUETIL ROAD FRAME c1975
CONCORDE ROAD FRAME c1988
CONDOR ROAD FRAME c1972provisional dibs on one of the three, it all depends on the BBs, thanks!

The Anquetil and Condor have standard British BBs – I will need to check on the Concorde which I would expect to be Italian.

emailed about the claud butler.
Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out another lot of interesting and bargain frames and three bikes. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.
ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL
Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…
** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. Otherwise it may well be sold to the next person who wants it...**
AND don’t forget Muswell Hill Cyclejumble, 7th August St Mary with St George Parish Hall, corner of Park Rd & Cranley Gardens, Muswell Hill, London N10 3AH – I will be there...
Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

CLAUD BUTLER MAJESTIC TOURING FRAME Early 1980s
Seat Tube (ctt): 56cm (22in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56.5cm (22.25in)
Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C with brake drop of 60mm
Seatpost size: 26.4mm
Frame Tubing: Reynolds 531 main tubes
This Claud Butler Majestic touring frame is in very sound and useable condition. The Majestic was a real touring classic of the late 70s/early 80s. It would make a very straightforward fixed/singlespeed conversion. £75
RORY O’BRIEN ROAD FRAME c1979 24.25in
Seat Tube (ctt): 24.25in (61.5cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 23in (58cm)
Rear dropout width: 12mm
Wheel size: 700C with brake drop of 47mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted tubing
This is a rather good large size road bike frame from the late 1970s which is in very nice condition with well detailed lugs. It would a very simple fixed/singlespeed conversion. £95
HOLDSWORTH ROAD/TOURING FRAME 1970s
Seat Tube (ctt): 22in (56cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22.25in (56.5cm)
Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: 700C with brake drop of 55mm
I am not at all certain which model this Holdsworth frame is - I suspect it might be a special - it has some characteristics of a Super Mistral - the Cinelli style integral fork crown and the wrapover rear stays and long Campag ends with mudgard eyelets and clearnces for 700C rather than 27in but then it has a straight seatstay bridge - this could be a later modification. Whatever it is obviously a top quality Holdsworth frame which would be ideal for randonneur, sportives and light touring or could be easily converted to fixed/singlespeed. The paint is in very sound condition. It comes complete with an excellent 114mm Mavic BB - this is the type which does not need BB threads. It appears that in the past the BB threads have been damaged so this frame does need to be used with a BB which does not need threads, hence £79 SOLD
HUMBER STREAK CLUBMAN FRAME Super Lenton c1953
Seat Tube (ctc): 23in (58cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22.5in (57cm)
Rear dropout width: 115mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C with brake drop of 60mm
Frame Tubing: Reynolds 531 main tubes
Seatpost size: 25.4mm
This is a quite an attractive Raleigh built Humber Streak from around 1953. It is the Hmber equivalent of the Raleigh Super Lenton. The paint is very scruffy but is quite attractive in a retro sort of way. It will make an easy conversion to singlespeed or fixed. £49 SOLD
JACQUES ANQUETIL ROAD FRAME c1975
Seat Tube (ctt): 22in (56cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22in (56cm)
Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: 700C
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 52mm
Frame Tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Jacques Anquetil was one of the brand names used by Ron Kitching for his frames in the 1960s and 1970s - this frame with Zeus long dropout was almost certainly built by MKM - which was part owned by Ron Kitching and who built some really rather good frames in the 1970s. This frame is in very sound condition - the paint is useable but has quite a number of marks - however the Anquetil decals are really very special and worth saving... It will make an easy conversion to singlespeed or fixed. £89
PAUL HEWITT ROAD FRAME c1989 ** NEW AND UNUSED**
Seat Tube (ctt): 51cm (20.25in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56.25cm (22.25in)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 45mm)
Frame tubing: Columbus Neuron
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This is a really nice Paul Hewitt road frame that has never been built up or used - however the paint is has numerous scratches from being in poor storage. There are however no dents or dings I could find. Columbus Neuron tubing was close to the top of their tubing range in the 1990s and makes for for an excellent stiff and light frame. This frame has vertical dropouts so would not be ideal for use as a conversion. £95
CONCORDE ROAD FRAME c1988
Seat Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C (brake drop 45mm)
Seatpost size: 27.0mm
This is a middle range Concorde road frame (disregard the Colnago seat tube decals which are easily removed) which is obviously built from tubing of higher quality than Columbus Aelle (which normally takes a 26.8mm seatpost). Is in very sound condition but has a number of paint scrapes which would respond well to careful retouching. It will make an excellent conversion £89
MBK ROAD FRAME c1994
Seat Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.5in)
Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: 700C (brake drop 43mm)
Seatpost size: 26.2mm
This MBK road frame is in very sound condition - it has an excellent pair of Simoncini Columbus Genius forks. It has vertical dropouts so would not be ideal for use as a conversion. £55
BUCKLEY ROAD FRAME 1940s/50s
Seat Tube (ctt): 21in (53cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 21.5in (55cm)
Rear dropout width: 115mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C with brake drop of 57mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame Tubing: almost certainly Reynolds 531 double butted
Buckley are one of the lesser known London small framebuilders though they were quite popular in some South London clubs. One of the distinctive features of most of their frames was triangular shaped chainstays very similar in section to those later used by De Rosa. This frame I think from early post-war years is in very sound condition and would make a great fixed or singlespeed conversion. £55
CONDOR ROAD FRAME c1972
Seat Tube (ctt): 22in (56cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 21.75in (55.5cm)
Rear dropout width: 122mm
Wheel size: 27s or 700C
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 64mm
Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This Condor road frame dates I think from the early 70s - it has been poorly handpainted and will benefit from a good repaint. It will make a very easy fixed or singlespeed conversion with the long Campy dropouts £85
