Middle Farm, near Alciston in Sussex. Well worth riding out to fill up the panniers. Killer Cider!

Before we met up for cigars I hit the Kernel brewery just off Tooley street. No ciders but great American style IPAs (high alcohol, massively hopped). The porters were nice as well but they make very small batches so it seems what they have on stock rotates frequently.

There's a brewery of some sort at Vinopolis I think.
Middle Farm in East Sussex (between Lewes and Polegate) sell great Cider & Perry, from their own farm and other regional ones.

There's the Meantime brewery in Greenwich. Got a private tour years ago when they were starting up. Plus they have the Greenwich Union pub, where you can pop your bike into the garden out the back. Thier London Porter is amazing.

yeah was gonna mention that. nice little pub, if a bit modern, but the beer makes up for it
-
• #21
Good call on the Union. I've eaten their a couple of times and their beer selection is great.
