By the sounds of it, the charges will relate to defrauding the Federal government (US Postal is a government agency and funds provided by them are alleged to have been used to run a doping programme).

I wonder where it'll leave the case if they decide that it was the money raised from the sale of the bikes which funded the doping programme.

Still not a great result for anyone's credibility or career of course.
