Guy this morning i rode with from Rotherhithe roundabout down Jamaica road/Tooley street/over London Bridge to Bank on a blue/white Fuji frame with track dropouts (?!?). Blue waterproof jacket and orange NY lock in a belt holster thingy - you on here?

We caused muchos confusion to the nodder on the MTB with the trackstanding ;-)

Spotted some hybrid riding commuter come a cropper right in front of me on Court Lane, Dulwich this morning. He came bombing past me as I rolled along behind a Nissan Micra then attempted to overtake it just as the car braked and turned right. He hit the brakes hard and went down like a sack of spuds as his tyres failed to get enough grip on the damp road surface.

@mr commuter chap - see those little orange lights that flash on the side of cars? They are called indicators and are used by drivers to signal their intention of turning right. That's a lesson worth learning and no amount of ranting and raving at the poor driver is going to make up for the fact that the error of judgement there was yours, and yours alone.

Most definately, at the north end of London bridge he though to himself "why the hell have i been putting my foot down when i stop at lights all these years when i can balance on my bike like these cool kids" so he tried it, and failed and is now on his way to BLB to get a unipack...
