Er, shoulda posted here earlier but hello anyway and big up yourself! Greetings one love to all!
I ride my bike for a living, generally spend my day angry until I finish then I relax at the pub / gig / flat whatever.
If you love roots and reggae check my posts in the dub thread and look out for gig postings in the relevant forum sections.
Bless up.

Hello everyone. Great forum - just joined after a bit of lurking. Been cycling for years but only recently discovered the joy of fixed wheel - that wonderful feeling when you decide to coast and the pedals remind your knees that it is not such a good idea.

I'm not sure I'd call that "wonderful", more like "ohshitImustrememberIdon'thaveafreewheel!".

you can seriously do better than that. Pretend this is an AA meeting. Tell us your name and rank soldier... Who you are, what you believe in and what you ride.

To be fair he did make it a bit funny by writing it in a Chinese accent.

Hi all,
I'm interested in building a single speed bike for commuting to work because I like the idea of recycling old components and learning a bit about about bike mechanics.
Cheers,

I also wouldn't ride fixed (yet). I'd want much stronger legs to feel confident. :P
I've heard it's quite easy to switch from SS to Fixed, so maybe in the future when I'm used to riding again.

Hi all.
I'm very new to ss and fixed so be gentle. I've been road riding for years, but am really keen on getting a ss, so will be needing some advice coming up.
Cheers.

Was in London alot last year and loved everything about it!.... fixed wheelers being one of them! so im bringing fixed wheel to the country back roads....... and not looking back, using my dads pearson at the mo so im trying to educate myself on building one or buying a part build etc...... member of some other forums so know the "craic" .... cheers!

Hi,
First post. Been riding SS for around 6 months, but am only now getting into the mechanics of it all as I try to repair the first damage to my bike!

Hi,
I've been riding fixed since 2006. I remember coming down a hill trying to pedal brake and realising that I just couldn't stop. I couldn't stop laughing. It was like being a kid again...

Hello everyone!
I've been browsing this forum for a few days now, but I've signed up at last! Several weeks ago I bought a £30 single speed bike from eBay, which, although awful in every regard, has ignited an interest in cycling! Of course, now I'm looking to replace it!
Cheers,
Felix
