    For me, pussying out of the opening TT was where it went wrong. a 4km TT? he's the fucking olympic champion at that,and it seems he held right back to avoid a crash in the rain.
    sensible, you might say, but where on earth else is he going to take time off the other GC boys?
    the best he is ever going to do in the mountains is damage limitation, so the prologue was a great chance to spend the 1st week in the top 5, if not top 3. from there, hanging on in the mountains would have seemed more vital, maybe it would have motivated him more.

    The final 50k TT is his only hope, and Cancellara and Bertador are bound to beat him, and he'll probably be 3 mins down by then anyway. at best.

    So, Sky give a great impression of having it all under control and it all going according to the laser-guided plan, but it's really hard to see where Wiggins can do damage.

    totally agree about A.Schelck, not having Frank will be the making of him.
