Noooooooo!
Dude, you need to keep this bike. You keep letting the nice ones get away. But fair enough, i understand your predicament. You need to find a place with a big old shed or summat.
Ah well.
And yes, well done for the close up of the back to front chaintug! -

i just thought, you know what, who doesn't love a bit of back to front chain tug action...

Lovely frame. Lovely lovely. Looks more like a seventies build, and all the better for that.
The fork isn't twin plate. But it's lovely. [/envious nitpicking 'cos I can't have it.]

Do you reckon I could just come and look at it? I haven't passed out in sexual ecstasy for ages...

yeah you're right. i thought seeing as i'm gonna post a pic of the of the backwards chain tug, i might aswell make a glaring twin plate fork error while i'm at it...

hi, how do i come and view the bike? i don't have any details to organise a visit? again, i'm very interested in the bike and think it may be my ideal size.

thank f*@k it's not my size otherwise I'd be there. Even though I'm getting married and the GF might leave me if I was to spend the wedding fund on this but hell.. it might be worth it
This is a heartbreaking thing to do but I'm soon to move into a new flat and I've been given a strict 2 bike limit by my girlfriend.
This is a RIDICULOUSLY BEAUTIFUL track bike built by Bob Read in the late 1990s.
It has super shiny twin plated chrome forks and chrome rear stays.
It was resprayed in a luscious deep red and cream about 4 years ago. The paintwork is absolutely immaculate, save for the tiniest couple of marks on the drive-side downtube.
This bike is so nice in the flesh. I've seen people pass out in a state of sexual ecstacy as i cycle past.
Top tube = 56cm c-c
Seat tube = 56cm c-t
Comes with -
Campagnolo Record high-flange pista hubs laced to Mavic Open Pro CD clincher rims. The rims have never seen a brake and are thus in fantastic condition with no marks on them whatsoever. Hubs are flawless and will glide for days. Comes with a 20t sprocket and lockring. Also included are the MKS thin chain tugs (NJS).
Miche Primato pista chainset. The classic version with the yellow logo. 165mm and 49t chainring. Both chainring and crank arms are in fantastic condition and look like new.
Specialized pista chrome threaded headset. Buttery smooth and very shiny.
Specialized pista stem (90mm). I'm pretty sure this is a Nitto stem which was later branded as Specialized. Very rare stem and extremely attractive.
Cinelli Pista handlebars. Lovely drop bars in excellent condition.
Campagnolo Record pista seatpost. Aero and shiny!
Viewings are welcome and highly recommended. The pictures do not remotely do this bike justice.
