Stripping a bike frame down to bare metal by hand is basically hell. Spraying it by hand at home then seeing all the dust etc. settle is even worse.
Take it to a powder coaters. They sand blast it. It's easy and cheap. And you get a result.
Or for an economy bodge job, use Hammerite.
