You're inviting people along to things you like, which is fair enough, but the way you're doing it, is as if you're doing us a favour by letting us know about it. You're not. Not at all.
You're very extremely new here, and I'm sure that once you have been to some Lfgss social drinks, and made some friends/acquaintances on here, people would trust your suggestions. And because they are friends, they will tell others, and its possible that a great time will be had by all.
Till then, you will keep on posting random invites to Roots events, and nobody will reply, as nobody here knows you. Change that, and then things might get interesting. .........Unlike in your threads below.
***Here's something funny. I was once doing "security" on stage at a concert and Freddie McGregor's crowd turned up. As loud as vuvuzelas they were, and demanding that I made way for "the man". I asked for stage passes. and they said, "Don't you RECOGNISE Freddie McGregor"??!! ***
***"No",.... I said ....."I don't listen to reggae". ***
***You should have seen their faces! It was very, very, very, very funny. They showed their stage passes, and Freddie McGregor was allowed his set. ***
The moral of that true story? Not everybody is as keen on reggae as some people might think.
Creation Iration, how shall I put it?
