Someone I know went surfing with his mate by jumping off a cliff. The place was obviously full of massive waves crashing against rocks & the cliff face.
One of them got knocked out when he jumped in, and my friend had to then either watch as his friend drowned to death/got smashed by waves & rocks. Or risk jumping in after him.
He jumped in, and spent a long time in the water struggling to retrieve the other guy, nearly drowning himself. But, luckily it was a success, they were both fine. They were around 17 at the time I think.
