I've got some Araya rims from the 90's NOS still wrapped for sale. £30 each.

I have 4 available at the moment and I can get a few more sets if any one else is interested. Unfortunately I wont have them in the UK until after 19th August [I'm in China]. I need some advance notice in order to get extras. Collection from Hackney Wick only, sorry, no postage.

I should just make clear that the rims are not in the UK until after the 19th Aug. I have 4 rims here [in china] and can get a few more pairs if necessary.

All-around beauties:

From the 1990 Araya Catalog:
Specially designed for use of hybrid/cross bicycles with cantilever brakes, fitted with
700x35c or 38c tires. Aslo suitable for narrow raod bike tires like 700x20c ~ 25c.

Aha yes, concave sidewall, designed for Cantis. Cool.

£30 each rim, so £60 a pair. They are in perfect condition it looks like the paper wrapping has never seen the light of day. To be honest I'm not sure that info on velobase is accurate I cant see these taking more than 28c, possibly 32c, they have a 14.5mm inner width.

So, nuknow, I'll put a set by for you, I'll p.m you closer to the date.

Ok, I just checked all my pm's and it seems there is still a pair of these up for grabs.

I'm in London on the 11th possibly 12th and back again at the end of the month. Really nice rims, I just built some 32h up and they look very nice.

I need a single 32 hole if you can find one! The lovely ceramic one on my Bridgestone is pringled and Im trying to keep it all Japanese!
