Finally, I've got the ride pics ready to upload. How do I do it ladies?
-
• #303
You could upload to flikr or another one like Photobucket.
You can then share the link to the whole set.
Also when you do s new post there is a button for doing pictures. I think it explains the various options for showing them in a thread.
I'm not sure if any of that may help! -

This should help
https://www.lfgss.com/thread17.htmlyou can also use that thread to experiment with posting pics

Thanks ladies.
It won't let me upload. Apparently because my pics are 2.69mb rather than the 2mb. How do I resize?

I fully admit to being a technophobe when it comes to uploading pics. Much prefer 35mm film :-).

Hi Nikola, not sure about Brighton but there were murmerings of Cambridge...Maybe once summer is cooling off a little - not sure I fancy around 60 miles in 30degrees!
I'm still rooting for camping. I want an excuse to buy a tent and I have a millets voucher.

I'm not up for cycling/camping at the moment... but next year definitely.

I ttally want to camp but we dn't have a tent! Or anything else that is needed fr camping! And I'd much rather try Cambridge than Brightn again. Anyone want t go t Cambridge this next Saturday s I can prepare fr Dunwich?

How far is Cambridge?
-
• #318
63 miles from Hyde Park corner, if you go by the route on this thread
http://www.lfgss.com/thread38640.htmlI believe it's a lot flatter than the Brighton run though.
I can't do it next weekend, as am going camping myself with a few of the girls - will report back afterwards as it could be a potential winner in the future and wouldn't necessarily matter if you had any camping gear..

I'm totally up for the Cambridge ride. Would be great if we could arrange for towards the latter part of summer - too hot at the moment and tbh, I haven't got the milage in my legs to manage all the way there yet!!!
-

Wow I would totally be up for a ride to Cambridge too! I'll be living in Cambridge from mid August so could take a train to London and cycle home with you all! :-) What time would you set off? Would there be time for me to get to London by train if I set off early?
-
• #321
If I organise a Cambridge ride, it will probably be September - however do feel free to organise one yourselves :-)
But if any ladies are doing the Dynamo in a couple of weeks, you're welcome to ride with Ziska and I.

Could be totally in 'Loo as I need to train on my new bike! but just for the day righty? If we leave early we could possibly nail it by midday/afternoon? Can also use the "because long rides are fun" map. was a really good route....
ANNNND could open it up to the guys too?ROUTE OPTIONS:

I can't do Cambridge this w/e as I'm away, but definitely up for a girls ride day in September!
-
• #325
yes, late august/early september for before mentioned weather reasons would be great! also, the mileage in legs need to go a bit more ^ so i feel confident for the ride!
The Colnago is 52 tt 51 st, vertical dropouts though so if you want to convert it you'll have to magic gear it.
Glad you like the pics
