thought I'd throw in my comments after having my roll 1 for a couple of months.
It's my first fixed, and like the handling and quick acceleration. it feels heavier than my old roadbikes but dont really mind too much. I assume this is because of the steel frame.
agreed on the rubbish freewheel, I'm using mine fixed now so no problems there.
The stock saddle was binned on day one and i'm not 100% on the handlebars (may replace soon) but everything else is pretty good.
the in-built chain tensioning screws are really nice for getting your chain tight and wheel straight, especially for someone like me who's never had horizontal dropouts before.
overall im pretty impressed with it, yeah some of the componetry is a bit average (standard specialized) but happy with it as an OTP for a reasonable price, and lack of fluoro.
