True, but if he does it in a dumb way and the result ends up in the porn thread, I reserve the right to take the piss. It wasn't even that the brake was too expensive, it was a fail because a shopping bike should have decent sized tyres, which needs some kind of brake QR, which Campag callipers don't have since the QR is integrated into their drop-bar levers. Clearly the whole bike was grossly over specified for it's intended use, but then we're nearly all guilty of that since most of the serious bike geeks on here have Pro-grade equipment without the Pro-grade talent to justify it, but I'm prepared to disregard that as long as all the choices are well thought out from a functional and aesthetic standpoint.
