Ironically it sits and operates perfectly - there was never any 'issue' - it was a post build recommendation from someone I know. ...

Then i'm at a loss to understand why it was recommended.

(I admit i'm not intimately familiar with skeleton brake cable tension adjuster barrels, but i've racked my brains and can't see how the Allan nut can do anything more than get in the way.)

It is a nice build, but i think the 'no readers wives' convention is a good one.
