About 3 days ago my cat (Rembrandt) went missing. Rembrandt is a fancy cat ('bombay' breed) and hasn't really spent a night outside, so being a wimpy domesticated house cat I was getting worried. The last time I saw Rembrandt was when I let her out, soon after she went out it started to rain, so I expected her to return quite quickly. So 3 days have passed and no cat, not looking good.
A few minutes ago my next door neighbour knocked on my door saying:
'Is it you who owns the small black cat?'
I say 'yes' cautiously, thinking that Rembrandt is now wafer thin and riggermortified.
It turns out that my cat had crawled through an open window in the neighbour's car when it was raining and has been living behind the foot pedals under the bonnet.
My neighbour had been using the car and got the fright of her life when Rembrandt pissed on her feet (quite funny). Anyway my cat is still alive so win for me!
