• Plan:

    • you've got the turbo, so that's the hardest part done
    • practise attaching your bike to it, and adjusting the roller pressure against the tyre - mostly neuro adaptations for this one
    • start a stretching regime, focussing on the hamstrings/adductors/hip flexors - it will make getting on a whole lot easier
    • some core work will also give you the strength and stability to mount the bike whilst it's in the turbo
    • do a few weeks of meditation, or any other activity that involves emptying your mind e.g. posting on the forum
    • then supplement the meditation with self-harming techniques such as paper cuts between your fingers or seeing how long your can hold a lighter flame to your nipples.

    With that kind of training plan, you'll be ready to ride on a turbo trainer.
