I stuck one of these frames on Ebay a few months ago and only got about £50 for it, and it was in immaculate condition. These models were japanese-made and imported by Falcon, who then stuck the Harry Quinn decals on them.

so the frame is 80????

Frank Clements royally raped Harry with that stunt - the idea was to continue the line of master framebuilders when Harry retired, but Frank went for the quick buck. I've got a Clements/Quinn in the basement, and it's truely dire.

Never did. just sold it on, for a £50 loss. Oh well.

the (London's Famous) blue Quinn is one of the early Falcon ones, and is a really nice frame, so at first they did decent quality at first. It's probably still Japanese-made as it has Tange double butted tubing and Shimano forged dropouts. The later ones, which all seem to be this cherry red colour, are all very poor though.

Real Harry Quinns are a world apart from normal frames, very light and stiff, with exquisite detailing . A world apart from most other handbuilts in my opinion.
