I'm going to be in Paris for the final day... anyone else going to be over?
I'll be here because 1. It's where I live and 2. I have a mate coming to watch. Beers?
I haven't decided whether I want to go super early, get a good spot and see the riders loads of times (i.e. somewhere on the lap), or whether to drift slightly out of town and get a front row seat without waiting for hours.
Last time I watched in Paris Armstrong won, I turned up to place de la concorde at 10, 11ish and was about 15 people back from the action. At the end of jardin des tuileries you're at least a bit higher up than anyone else. The caravan times and rider times are on the official website, given to the nearest second at a particular road junction.
Busiest places are place de la concorde, champs elysee, especially at the top, and then anywhere on the lap.

Bladder control a must, if you want front row ;)
