  • I have for sale a Rossin 56cm Steel frame , Before me the frame has had no road use, only at track bike competitions - as you see its not so new (actually it was used during olimpic games in moscow in 1980 and after that it was laying in warehouse), has a lot of chips on the paintwork, visible on photos. Frame weighs only 2,4kg, has a 27.4 seatpost, 1" Headset, Italian BB.
price in euro: 450 + cost of sending
I have the frame in poland so we will send it to UK...
If you are really interested write pm.

  • pics?

  • i think 450 euros for a track frame with lots of chips in the paintwork is a bit steep but id like to see pictures to judge how bad it is

  • Curious too, but some photos are def. required.

  • Sorry, but lfgss doesn't want to upload the pics

thw frame was brought from minsk, from bike club called dinamo minsk (very famous in soviet union)...

  • nice but battered

  • not worthy £450

  • DAMN!! Want! To expensive though..

    And where's the front fork?

  • Call it beausage.. but yeah, no road use?

  • £200? And I can pick it up from Poland.

  • not worthy £450

    It's a Rossin!

  • Was

  • And where's the front fork?

OP says frame not frameset or frame and fork.

  • What forks does it take by the way? Looks like a 650 front, but it can be because of the angle.

  • similar but not the same
edit, after a closer look, maybe the same frame

  • the reinforcers in Brian's one looks just a plate of metal, but in the OP looks more beefy (headtube),
the one in the EEI pic looks like the Brian's one.
anyway it is probably the same in all 3 pics

  • there is a Polish guy here in London, Michael?? that have the same frame, he used to came down to polo, when polo was still at Brick Lane
it is a lush frame, and as Winston say, it is a Rossin

  • ^The first picture is of Brian's Rossin. The one in the OP has smooth transitions between the tubes and webbing.

That b&w photo is of the bike used by Soviet team, so it should be the same thing, according to jogurt.

have to agree with EEi, there is somerthing different about the headtube filleting, the angles are different. The shadows suggest that one is graduated and filled, the other is a sheet of metal with overall less profiling...regardless, still adds up to be a beautiful frame...battered but muy muy bonita, forks would be nice for £450 dorra though...the forks would also be the steering rig as well, so would (i don't know for sure but would) be essential I would have thought?

  • I wanted to build a bike on this frame... But I was afraid that sb would steal it.. Front fork...? I had soviet track fork "Rekord" and it fits rossin..
So finally I didn't make a bike with this frame, and it was laying about half a year so I decided to sell it..
I wrote the price in euro - which means a bit cheaper then you thought..
If someone is seriously interested we can discuss the price... I can sell it cheaper.

Like EEi says, this actually looks like the same frame, the filleting is the same and so are the decals, I love the fact the shoe is hanging of the pedal like that,...and just what exactly is the guy on the right holding in his hand? and is the film washed out or does he have frosty sideburns...
I think it needs the forks, trying to get the right forks would be a royal pain in the butt, did you say there were some that you knew off?

  • "Rekord" is normal track bike with normal fork, and this fork from rekord fits rossin so you dont need sth special, look here http://velospace.org/files/3479920817_81e79a3cb7_b-1.jpg
