You could use a polo mallet upside down - kinda pirate style...
This is what I did when I fooked up my foot after East. Actually walked to Royal London that way. Doctor said it probably wasn't busted, and sent me on my way. But also said don't use a crutch. It'll just prolong the whole experience. Learn to walk on it in such a way as doesn't cause pain and enjoy walking very slowly.
That being said, get it checked by a doctor so at least you know. Just go to A&E.
