damn nice bike!

It's a custom frame, and you're really tall - it's not easily or cheaply replaced if you sell!

I know I know, but I just don't use it that much, and I don't have the money to buy the bike I need without selling it :(

• #6
you most definitely will regret it,
My advice -
Sell all the parts from it separately which would be a nice sum of money, build your sensible bike with the proceeds.
Then wrap the Goff frame and fork up and stick it in your attic,
You can alway buy new parts in the future, when you decide you miss it/can afford to build it again?

Completely agree you should keep this, but if you're set on selling it and the sale of the f+f falls through, I could be interested in the whole bike. PM me if this is of interest.
Cheers,

I've just posted the wheels for sale in their own thread. This can be closed now.
Cheers mods.
I'm considering doing the unthinkable and selling the Goff. It's a mad-fun bike, but I'm just not using it as much as I should. I need something more practical with guards and racks and things, so I may have to let her go...
The frame and fork were custom made for me by Steve Goff out of a mix of Columbus max and Reynolds tubing. All immaculately fillet brazed. Tapered stays with clearance for 28c tyres (so practical for road use). As I'm sure you all know, I'm a big boy, and this is a big frame!
64cm CTT seat tube, but because of the lo-pro ness it rides like a smaller bike measures up at about a 61ctc and about a 60cm top tube. You'd have to be 6ft plus, but not as silly-tall as I am (6"8). Paint is good, but chipped in places from normal use. I don't baby my bikes at all. Forks are very special, made out of Columbus air seat tube for a cool aero shape with no taper, drilled for a brake.
Wheels are non machined Deep V to dura ace (NJS 36h) Black DT swiss butted spokes. Looked after well. The front has never seen a brake (though the picture tells different). 2 cross rear and radial front
Cranks: 172.5 silver 75's and a virtually new 47t zen chainring
Deda pista bars, 3T arx pro stem (70mm, 5 deg)
If anyone is interested in any of it drop me a PM and we'll discuss there.
