Locking up in Brighton

I'm planning on having a ride into Brighton on Saturday from Worthing as i need to buy a nice pair of trousers.
any tips on the safest places to lock my bike up?

I haven't heard of anyone having their bike vandalised during the day here. Bring a D-Lock and a heavy duty chain/barrel lock and I reckon you'll be fine anywhere in town.

its not london. i just use a good D-lock and lock it up through the wheel and seatpost tube.
