omfg. you rehosted the image and hyper linked it, just to give me a hard time??
No, I did it to demonstrate, rather than simply state, that the limit you call "dumb" is actually perfectly sensible, and that preview images of acceptable size are plenty large enough to allow viewers to decide whether they want to see the full size. Placing huge images in line is dumb, which is why it's so common on 'Merkin fora.

Wow. Must be nice to be such an expert on absolutely everything. Do try not to let it show.

Common on American forums? Thats amost a laughably ridiculous statement. Regardless....
First of all, NSMB is Canadian... so unless you're refering to north american forums, i don't know what you're saying. Either way, dumb. Second, I don't vist any forums other than this one and NSMB, so i wouldn't know whats "common." Third, if you EVER go the current projects thread, you'd know every project i ever post is linked from my flickr account with a tiny display image linked to a full size shot. Considering that you are one of the more active members on this site, i'd think such an observation isn't beyond your resolution.
That said, even if you didn't know the third point I just made, you were still being ridiculous and approaching the silly issue in a backwards manner so as to make an example of me.
next time, rather than roping me into this shit show, just say "yea better that way though(t), upload and hyperlink smaller images if it's worth your trouble"

Silly Brits, Tennessee usually = Whiskey (Tennessee Whiskey in particular)... Bourbon is usually associated with Kentucky (although it can be made anywhere).

I cant help loving the Merlin Cyrene. Looks like an ornate hipflask, and should be sold contraining fine malt whiskey.
All those exquisite engravings are actually stress raisers that will dramatically shorten the fatigue life of the frame. Nice as a work of art but I always prefer form with function.

I actually hate what the builders done to this, its way over the top. If your weldings top notch why fucking bother.

Because you can, besides, it's Ti so it's not going to break, the engravings won't weaken it enough for it to snap... I wouldn't ride it myself but it's lovely in the way that a set of engraved shotgun barrels are, you're not going to shoot with them every day but they sure are pretty!

But Tennessee Whiskey doesn't have the same qualities as Bourbon, and does not have the same complexity. Sure you get the odd decent Single Barrel from JD but on the whole, Bourbon has more character.
If you have anything you can recommend to change my mind, please, recommend away.
PS - we're not all Brits, some of us are in the 10% with passports

they don't actually engrave the barrel's, its the receiver and trigger assembly, floor plate etc, engraving the barrel's would make them a bit like a fragmentation grenade casing!

We had these at work, they are horrendous. I work at a bicycle hire shop, and the quality of components just isn't up to it. Seems to weigh quite alot too, for somthing so simple..
That's a bit harsh and a bit unfair. I haven't sold any of the Paper Bicycles to bicycle hire shops yet in the UK and I'd judge the component quality to be spot on for the bicycles intended use.
The spec is intended for five years of living outside with daily use, and the 1000 odd that are in daily use in Switzerland as part of their public bike schemes are testament to that.
Sure its not as light as it can be, but with the low centre of gravity it rides a lot lighter than you'd expect.

The frame paint is nice enough, but i'd have put the bars on the other way up and raised the stem a little. Polishing the chainset, getting some non-machined rims and lining the tyre logos up with the valves would also help.
