I've put on about 2 stone since christmas just by being a fatty and eating out practically every night. I work pretty long hours by many standards - 8am to...9/10pm. I cycle a lot but that's about the only exercise I get.
I've got a fucked knee so can't run really but am going to take up swimming.
As for this carbs lark - I was reading earlier that for whatever scientific reasons are beyond me, men are more prone to having a positive effect from so called 'atkins' diets than women. they react differently to intakes of carbs so i'll certainly check out virgils rice replacement suggestion.
