Yes, it was, I was lucky to get it for significantly less than what I think is its true value. It's a lovely bike, and I'm sad to have to sell it, but riding it has increased the amount of pain I've been getting in my knee, so I'm going to have to stick to gears until my knee problem is sorted. I actually think it's probably worth upwards of £300, and I certainly think £280 is a very fair price. If you were lucky enough to pick up a valuable work of art for £20 at a car boot sale would you feel constrained to sell it on for no more than you paid for it, or would you try to get its market value?
