I fully support the idea of a female only sub-forum.
Its a sad event, but there can be positives out of it.
If a women only section increases the amount of females on this forum, it can't be a bad thing. Some of them will go to some of the drinks, and will blend in more and more with the main forum.
The misogyny on here, that is largely treated as being very funny, isn't. My sisters wouldn't find it so, and neither would my daughter. Sure, some women know what to expect on here, so its no big deal, but other women aren't prepared for it......They come on here, ask a few questions, then leave.....never to return. Of course, some will just say, that person should HTFU. I disagree. I can't stand male only company. Its unnatural in the world, unless living aboard an Attack Class nuclear submarine.
The present balance of males to females on this forum, and many other forums actually, is just plain sad. Others may love the blokeyness, but I find blokeyness to normally be the airing of the lower mentality. Yes, maybe funny sometimes, but not all the time.
