Are touring (A719, A319 etc,.) rims going to be stronger than Open Pro's for those that can't steer around the potholes? Or are they just heavier because they are bigger?
Another option could be to use larger tyres if you can. A 35c lets me get away with anything on road or off road (admittedly a 35c is a very large tyre!)
