I think that if there is a demand for women-only rides then there is no reason not to meet that demand; either as an end in itself or as a way of getting women to join in mixed forum rides later.
The great majority of people coming to Bikeworks recently for Cycle Training have been women. The reasons for that are unclear. But I do suspect that many of them, if they want to start riding for pleasure rather than just commuting, would be encouraged to do so if there were women-only rides they could join as a starter.
Ultimately I think if Velocio allows it then Nhatt and anyone else who wants to organise it should just go ahead and do it and see what happens.
