Happens all over London. Try to ride through busier areas later at night if you are worried, might be safer taking your chances with traffic.

i only ride that way because i like the route, traffic isn't the issue. and it's not that
i'm even worried about this stuff, it just made me think you know...? about how vulnerable we actually are if we aren't careful and if we don't keep our eyes open.
in the 4 years i've been riding in this city, nothing like that has ever happened to me, and i really worry for the more casual cyclists out there who, let's face it, aren't as focused on the roads
