Dirty Harry Levers

  • Anyone using a dirty harry lever for polo? If so how you getting on with it?

Bust my lever yesterday and need a decent replacement that will fit oversize bars.

  • yup used one for ages, they're all good.

  • When I first started using one I got a blister on my middle finger...

    But fine since then.

  • when i first started using one it used to ignore me and give me evils...

    but we're fine since then.

  • ...it used to ignore me and give me evils...

At the same time? Wow. That's some serious skillz...

  • Am I right in saying they are short reach? So you might want to invest in one of these if you've got a v-brake:

I'm running this set up and it with a Dirty Harry and it seems pretty good so far.

  • for that price buy a proper MTB Lever
    MTB
    lever

  • I'm running a side pull campy mirage rear brake. Main concern is the clamp diameter to fit the cut down oversize 31.8 bars, seems that the Dirty Harry is designed to run a larger diameter bar. Already snapped one brake where the clamp bit to the bars just gave up as it was being stretched beyond it tolerance.

  • i think tech-99's should fit an oversized bar too, they come with shims to fit a normal sized one, same as the dirty harry does. dont uote me on that though!

  • Yep, true. I have one shimed to fit regular.
