For Sale: O/T Camera - Ricoh GR10

Sorry I know I've got a huge sale thread going but thought I'd put this one seperate as I know there's a few camera fans.

Ricoh GR10 - £100

This is a premium compact 35mm camera, using the classic Ricoh GR 28mm 2.8 lens.

The GR10 is a slightly less controllable version of the GR. If you've ever used a GR on P mode then that is exactly the same as this camera. It still has forced flash, second curtain sync, spot focussing and metering and also the 'lock focussing' (I think Ricoh always call it 'snap focus') which is absolutely awesome for street photography - set it to 2-3m and get in amongst them.

Condition is basically as new - the rubber grip has a touch of use marks but hardly anything. All works correctly - got a film back from it yesterday. This is an ace camera and much cheaper then a GR in similar condition, and if you know how to play with spot metering you really don't need manual controls

So let me get this right. It controls the exposure, but you can choose the apature/shutter speed combo that will achieve this correct exposure?

i have owned 2 gr cameras - fooking amazing ! never tried the 10 but very tempting !

no, it chooses the aperture and shutter spped - you can however lock it onto what you want to be correctly exposed then recompose and shoot. Works REALLy well in practice, whether that be exposing peoples faces who are backlit or underexposing a scene (say to get the sky at the right exposure)

Great camera. I've got a GR-1v, absolutely love it when I can be bothered to process the film.

This is one of the best compact ever made (apart from Contax). I'd get it myself if it had aperture priority.

Used to have a gr1 and sold it a while back, regretted it ever since, sorry to the others that wanted it too!

(If I fall on hard times and need to sell i'll keep you in mind!)
