cant find how to buy this heavy-duty stuff and have been keeping my eyes peeled at roadworks for weeks to no avail...

does anybody have any tips? or better still some scraps i can have?

am new to polo, just want to try it out and try making some mallets.

I've been trying to find some pipe for the last couple of weeks but to know avail. I'm using the roadworks map to try and find some tonight but if I've no luck does anyone have some that I could buy or swap a ski pole for?

Going on the hunt tomorrow?

Going to start a Google - My Map, put points on it from the roadworks map which say what is meant to be there. Then when I'm out I can fire up google maps and get directions to the different pipe locations.

Once I've found some I can update the map to show "confirmed pipe locations", albeit slightly over the top for pipe.

I'm going to the plumb centre tomorrow to see if they have offcuts/how much it is?

Good, I'm glad someone got some. I saw it on the way to the Bridges ride but everyone was going really fast so I didn't stop and try and get any.
