  • Of course they didnt.

  • Can you please post your general comments in the thread "Report dangerous drivers..." rather than this thread.

  • please use the report dangerous drivers thread and the met police roadsafe site for these things

  • any professional driver ought to do cycle training

this morning i had an idiot cunt in a bus ask me what i was doing in the centre of the lane

this was after she had veered into my lane (from my inside) pushing me into the oncoming traffic

in view of her utter fucking stupidity and lack of knowledge of the highway code i rearranged her mirror to make her aware there was one attached to the fucking bus

this can only help if they are unaware, it's when drivers decide it would be fun to try and scare cyclists that they should loose their license. Much like the coach driver who tried to push my off the road 3 times today.

  • And did southwark or tfl or anybody do fuck all about those concerns?

TfL are either currently disbanding or may have already finished disbanded their freight management department. So they have nobody to address such concerns. It would appear that they've just decided it's not their problem.

I found that out from my brother who does consultancy work for TfL and was shocked that London, which LIVES on huge amounts of freight coming in every day, now has nobody managing it.

Did they keep that one quiet from the cycling communities?

  • Have just emailed simon@simonhughes.org.uk about it. Simon is the Lib Dem MP for Southwark. Hope he pays attention. his borough is turning into a joke.

  • Update from SE1;

    http://www.london-se1.co.uk/news/view/4635

I'm not sure a broken ankle constitutes a 'minor injury' but I wish the cyclist a speedy recovery.

  • That looks as if she's had a lucky escape.

Whether an injury is classed as 'slight' or 'serious' depends on whether the casualty required hospitalisation.

  • glad to hear that they will be alright (eventually), get well soon.

  • my letter

    their response.

    Greg French
    Customer Services"

    .

Sorry to carry on about this here, but since it's not in the other thread, just wanted to say this is exactly the letter I got back.
    Cut n paste ffs.

Really glad the cyclist is ok.
