Shit man, I'll be keeping my eyes open for ya stuff
Out of interest, where in Hackney do you live? I'm next to Homerton hospital now, but will be moving to Mare st soon, near the London Fields pub...wondering how much I'll need to bump up the security if scumbag robberies are so frequent
Sorry to hear about your losses, hope it turns up

That's no good, I'll keep an eye open. Possibly a good idea to check gumtree incase it goes up on there.
Then you can arrange to meet for a pick up and come mob handed firm style!
Hope you get it back. -

@ Tash, just make sure they can't get through your locks on your window, and use a New York or better lock. I am on Green Lanes...
also I have the frame number so if any of you cool people happen across one, just post it and I will hunt it, going hunting this Sunday, if any of you are about Brick lane or the likes let me know.. thanks

I lived on Mare Street for a while and once came back to find a residents' letter about a home invasion. Apparently they'd broken in and held the owners at gunpoint. I calmed myself down by believing that they were into some dodgy stuff themselves, but obviously never heard any more about it. Other than that I had no bother at all.

There's no need for your hackneyed anecdotes.
/schickGood luck LDF... Keep an eye on Gumtree, and pop down to Brick Lane market.

Also @tash. Grab yourself one of those rape alarm things, and set it up so if the window is opened it pulls the pin.
I put one on my bike store and it scared of a couple of scumbags a few months back. Alternativly hook it up to your bike. You can get them free - just hang about in Abney Park and wait until the Hackney LGBT squad show up. They approached me and my girlfriend last autumn (we were, incidentally, holding hands), asked us if we were planning on engaging in al-fresco same-sex relations that day (at about midday on a Saturday), and explained that if that was our intention then were were likely to be targetted by muggers who do over gays because they're less likely to report it if they're out cottaging. They then gave us both rape alarms, one of which my girlfriend takes jogging, the other of which I used to scare off a strange cat that had decided to explore our bedroom.
Hi all, I live in Hackney, and my house was robbed last night. Among some notable objects was my beloved bike. Its a red Langster Steel, Large frame, white wheels, charge chopped bars, odi grips DMR pedals, wig straps. I am sure the dick heads who have it are parting it out... I know this is silly, as bikes get stolen all the time, but it was my livelyhood, and so if anyone sees a stripped langster about let me know, and I will come and kill the mother fucker. I have my frame number, so I'll be looking at every one that rides by... thats all I got.
Thanks
