Have been mulling an idea for the last few weeks about some kind of **Concours d'Elegance **show here in Londons Famous London. Would be a good chance for the great and the good to get their finest machines out for an all out to see. The idea is to mirror something like the Pebble Beach show but for bikes. Classic bikes, unusual bikes, bikes with history, unique bikes, chrome and shiny bikes or maybe just your pride and joy. I think a team of judges should be selected, categories set up criteria selcted for the judging points system and then all we have to do is get lucky with the weather.
Like I say it is just an idea currently and needs to be fleshed out but any thoughts ideas volunteers welcome, maybe we could merge it with another big event happening in the coming months and have it as a side event ? Is there a Tarck Day still to come this summer ? Is there a Polo Tournie that would welcome this being tacked on the side. Film Festival ?
It'll be just like the Bike Porn thread but in the flesh.
