Best you can do now is write a letter stating that it's those judgement decisions that win lifelong customers and they've just lost you as one. And don't forget to mention that your friends and family will hear no end of how you feel.
They said it was Orange policy not to do 14 day returns on monthly contracts (there was actually very very very very very fine print corresponding to it on the contract I signed).
