...the fork? paint is fine so far. Considered getting it resprayed silver to match the frame but I couldn't wait to get back on the bike. Think I like it as it is now.

Was your first batch or second? I gather the second were a fair bit lighter (these have the tapered fork legs). Only 'problem' I encountered was the guy that fitted the fork said he went through 2 hacksaw blades cutting the steerer and a drill-bit widening the hole to fit the brake.

no i meant the frame. the matte silve paint doesnt seem too tough on mine so I am considering getting it resprayed, but will probably leave it for a while yet. I love the original fork so will either work out a bodge clamp on brake option or just go brakeless.
