Just as a guide with sizing, you need to use the (supplied) special quill seat post which gives a maximum saddle height to rails of about 76-77cm from crank centre (will check later), so about 80cm to top of saddle with your average race saddle (a lot higher than in pic). This will accommodate a larger rider than a standard 57 would, and Nick has quite a short stem on there too.

Just to confirm it is 57x57cm c2c but 64cm ctt, the geometry (TT stylee) means it will work for riders who would normally ride a larger frame, especially if you want a TT set-up. And it IS fast, it even looks fast standing still ;-)

I heard that gears were the new fixed, this looks really good when walking it down the road
-
• #18
gears are the new fixed.
this would beat all the other fixer gearie converts.
-
• #19
I just realised that one could, if one wanted, run it fixed. It is possible.
-
• #20
one could. and it'd still be faster than the recent gearie converts.

Did you sell your Moser F+F last year?

what the dredge....
I have just aquired a rather lovely new road bike so this frame sadly has to go.
Moser Leader AX, Oria Silver Fillet Brazed tubing. Including original expander bolt seatpost (pretty rare).
I got this from Retro_di_Corsa before Christmas. The forks are original Moser forks and are for a 700c wheel. I have recently discussed this with Hutch (Retro_di_Corsa) and there is a possibility that the frame was originally designed with a 650c fork in mind.
The fillet brazing is superb, with a beautiful wishbone seatstay and an ovalised downtube.
The geometry means the rear clearance is extremely tight, probably the tightest I have seen in the flesh on any frame.
Here is it built up:

It has to be said that these photos were taken before I owned it, and there are a few nicks in the paint which aren't evident in the photos. However the chrome is still in fantastic condition both in the rear stays and the forks.
I am looking for £250 for F&F. However as I said it could well have been designed for a 650c fork so I will sell the frame alone for £200 and the chrome Moser fork for £50.
The frame is with currently with Retro_di_Corsa in Waterloo, he is happy to have people come and view the frame. I am going away with work tomorrow so unless the frame sells tonight (Monday 21st) then please PM him with any inquiries.
