• This afternoon Bobbinbird and I went to the freebie festival thing in Victoria Park, and with Carter's Steam Fair there was this:
    Messham's Wall of Death

For a measly 3 quid a ticket you get to see 20 minutes of the most entertaining and amazing stunt riding, that will put a huge grin on your face, and all delivered with traditional showmanship. Before we went in Bobbinbird was nonplussed and only agreed because I wanted to see it. Afterwards she was raving about how great it was and wanted to see it all again!

They are in Clissold Park in Stoke Newington next weekend. Make sure you go and see it. Seriously, it's that awesome.

  • Those used to be really popular early last century, didn't they?

Did you mention to me that Carter's Steam Fair is that circus which uses only humans and replicates old-fashioned attractions and acts?

Carter's Steam Fair is a Steam Fair.
