This auction if for a complete, albeit tatty, Gazelle Tour De L'Avenir in a rather large 64cm (ct) size. This bike does have potential and with a little work and some component changes would make for a good ride.
This is my friends description of it:
"The frame is 64cm c-t and weighs around 11.2kg, which is not bad especially for a bike of this size. Most of the bike is in decent shape, no dents or major scratches.
Except for the mismatch of parts, two things need attention as you might have seen from pics. The seatpost bolt has been tightened too much and the eyelets are bent now. I am not sure if the post diameter is the right size, or just brute force.
Second thing is the rust on the top tube. It is actually concentrated around the front two cable eyes and a bigger spot on the bottom side.
Derailleurs are both 105 Golden Arrow. Shifters from Suntour. Stem, handlebar and seatpost SR. Brakes are weinmanns and the hoods have some tape on them, so I guess are ripped. Rims front and back are not the same. Drive side crank is most likely not original, at least it doesn’t have the Gazelle name on it."
He is looking for offers around £100 posted from NL.
