Freddie Grubb 531 butted bike for sale. Purple frame with lovely head badge. 21.5" c-t seat tube and 22" c - c top tube. Frame is sound but has been well used.
Alloy GB stem and bars, faded cloth tape.
Weinnmann centre-pull brakes and levers.
Lovely Nervar Star chainset (50/42) with no-name alloy quill pedals.
6 speed wide ratio block
27" x 1" wheels, alloy rims and hubs - front Normandy hub, rear - no name. (rear wheel has broken spoke)
Shimano 600 front mech
Shimano Titlist rear mech
Alloy seatpost (not stuck)
Italian suede saddle (v.comfortable)
Longest mudguards in history
rear rack.
The bike is a bit untidy, it's decals have rubbed off but it is a nice smooth ride and with some TLC and time (which is the bit I don't have) this will be a great tourer / commuter.

This is lovely! PM me please if it's still for sale. How much work do you think it requires? (I've just given up on my old bike -wheel rims bust up). Is everything in working order?

It looks like it needs a good polish and it's ready to go. I had a stem in similar condition and 20 mins later with some help of Autosol was shiny as dog's b....
