Stolen bikes

  • There was a stolen Klein ful suspension mountain bike on here a few weeks ago. Pretty sure I saw it tonight around 6pm.

They joined Manchester Road from Marsh Wall South Quay and then turned off at the link below.

Judging by the calf muscles and the fact he overtook me when I was doing just shy of evens I'd say it has been sold on. Certainly not a scrote riding it. Can't give much of a description as the guy had a bandana and one of those stupid pollution masks on. Mixed race or Asian, tall and skinny. Usesless I know!

  • This one?

Agree it should be standard practice to post as much info as poss, so here we go with a proper effort with mine.

Make/Model: Klein Adept Comp full suspension.
Colour: Orange with bursts of yellow (see pic)
    Manitou forks
    Bontrager seat
New Shimano XT M771 Rear Derailleur (should be sparkling as less than 2 weeks old)
Frame number: CH0009076 on bottom bracket or drive side dropout (I forget which)

Stolen Sunday 30th May from Stoke Newington, Allen Road.

  • That's the one.

  • ...nah nah nah...

It been two days and you're still nowhere to be found, fuck sake.

  • charge plug stolen bethnal green, not happy

  • Rodeo, am I right in thinking you had one stolen? if so you'd probably like to give more details, model, size, colour, upgrades and how it was locked.

  • As my old gran used to say "That's as moody as fuck that"

    Have they, now?

  • I've just seen one of the tags on here 'reason to carry knife' ffs whoever wrote that should be ashamed of themselves and their silly little fantasies.

Sorry, was away. Called the station but nothing seems to happen on Sunday. If this works out, you won't go unrewarded.

  • purple charge plug, green wheels, silver magnesiumv12 pedals , xt levers, easton bars, short stem, big green combination chain

  • Down bricklane this morning, overheard a couple of the crims discussing how there has been a police crackdown on cycle crime. Didn't however deter them trying to shift and old school green gary fisher mountain bike and a back specialised mountain bike.

  • just saw three very hot bikes on some unlikely youths in stepney green. One black from single speed with white deep v rims and white bar tape on bullhorns, a giant ocr, and a cboardman mountain bike.

    £1200 for a Create bike? ;)

  • White Genesis Flyer single speed being wheeled down Upper St this afternoon by three kids in grey sportswear, rear wheel was flat, had dual flat/SPD pedals. They stopped outside a shop and the kid who was wheeling the bike was trying out the brake levers as if this was the first time he had seen the bike...

  • Chinaman had a light blue alu track frame, large ish, silver metal seat post collar. The huge GT with the weird BB has still not sold, and its datatagged.

  • Where abouts on Brick lane are these mofos, I work at the Royl London Hospital so could often duck down to BL to check out whats being displayed.

  • Anyone missing a grey condor or a blue and orange de rosa? Saw them this afternoon at bricklane. Doubt they were sold as it was late in the day, so might be worth a look next week. Tried to get pics but they saw me looked peeved!

  • Posting for a mate on a different forum

was on brick lane too looking for my bike and there were loads of police everywhere, didn't see anything good, maybe I was there too late? Someone mentioned something about Dalston Market - anyone been up there yet?

Anyone seen my bike yet? :(

  • ^ it definately wasn't there when I was.

Yeah, that was mine. Spotted on brick lane so has def been sold on. Also been seen in SW3. Wish I had a bike to go out to try and spot it, y'know!

Thanks for keeping an eye out. Still hoping it will turn up somewhere.

  • Anyone seen my condor potenza? Stolen last week in Brixton, absolutely gutted. Shown here before I changed the tyres and handlebars to black:

i work on the lane and see that de rosa everywhere, still trying to decipher whether it is moody or not.... the guy looks like he eats smack for snacks but he is literally on it every day and you would think that even johnny crackteeth would have the sense not to ride it on BL EVERY DAY!. apols if you are on here dude, shampoo rules xx
