I just wanted to clarify a few points and then let people judge for themselves.
In response to Harry, if you read the start of this and the first thread we have admitted that our first vintage builds had some issues and have taken on board every single criticism that we have received. As a result we have changed our previous mechanics and suppliers.
Harry, I agree that we also get bikes from other bike shops that are in poor condition and need servicing, that s what happens when people ride bikes. But I strongly encourage anyone that is not 100% happy with one of our bikes to bring it down, take advantage of our 12 months warranty and get their bike sorted until they are fully satisfied with it.
As for our cranks, again I agree with you that they are fairly basic but we don't charge £1000 for our bikes like the shop you work for, and when things go wrong we sort everything out right away. Anyway those cranks were provided by our previous mechanic and if you read my previous posts we are waiting for our new range of track cranks.
You also mentioned about the spokes in the wheels with a possibility of snapping. To my knowledge I have never had any of my spokes snap.
Harry, we said this before and I am not sure what else you expect us to do? In a previous thread we have invited you to come and talk to us. Perhaps you'd like us to come and talk to you. Either way, why are you avoiding talking to us face to face and using this forum to slag us off when we are clearly trying to provide answers to all the points raised, etc.. We have Cytech certificates here, we are all passionate about what we do, we obviously don't want to compare ourselves with BLB or 14bike co. We want to provide affordable bikes for those that don't have the time, deep pockets or knowledge to build their own custom build.
If you guys have any more feedback we always welcome people to swing by the shop for a coffee and a chat,
