Well, as I said before I am new to the single speed world and I just wanted to manifest my satisfaction with my bike

I love manifesting my satisfaction with my bike... Makes me feel like a man...
goes off to do something useful with time

Read up a couple of posts.
Ah.... that might explain the unusually high amount of "satisfied" customers. I guess ignorance is bliss and all that.

I too got the email from dani, I don't see anything wrong with to be honest, if people are negging his product and he thinks it's unjustified he has the right to call out to his satisfied customers.
I bought a bike (vintage) from Dani back in April 2009 and have since sold it on to my mate.
I was a decent enough bike and was a good way for me to get into building and maintaining my own bikes which you can't really do from scratch.
The frame was decent and it rode pretty well. The cranks were admittedly a little ropey but dani was happy to replace them when they broke.
The service dani gives is top drawer and he is clearly really invested in his product. His vintage bikes, IMO, represent a decent alternative to getting some shitty OTP and was a good bike for my first DIY kinda bike. I need had any safety issues and neither has the mate that I've sold it on to.

Hi. Never posted here before. I don't own a Foffa bike but, if I did, I'm sure I would be quite happy with it. If it was my first experience with single speed bikes I would become a fanatic on the subject. The bikes are almost certainly quite reliable, the colors are doubtless attractive and Dani is unquestionably very committed with his passion....
Just keep up what is without question the good work Foffa.. -

..... The cranks were admittedly a little ropey but dani was happy to replace them when they broke!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That really isn't the sign of a quality bike. I have never had an issue with any cranks and certainly not new ones.
IMO, represent a decent alternative to getting some shitty OTP
For the money; they really really really don't.

Hi. Never posted here before. I, too, own a white van and I'm very happy with it. It was my first experience with a white van and I have become a fanatic on the subject. The van is very reliable, the colour is incredibly attractive and I'm very passionate and committed ...
I'd just like to say that I will keep up the good work.
Astroturfing if ever I've seen any.

Hi. Never posted here before. I, too, sport a pony tail and I'm very happy with it. It was my first experience with a pony tail and I have become a fanatic on the subject. The pony tail is very reliable, the colour is incredibly attractive and I'm very passionate and committed ...

They broke and dani replaced them straight away. It also seems that he is using different cranks now? I'm not sure. Anyways, I personally think that when you get a bike from Foffa you get more than just the sum of the parts. I've been really pleased with my experience, that is just my opinion, but it is, indeed, my opinion.

Hello again,
I just wanted to clarify a few points and then let people judge for themselves.
In response to Harry, if you read the start of this and the first thread we have admitted that our first vintage builds had some issues and have taken on board every single criticism that we have received. As a result we have changed our previous mechanics and suppliers.
Harry, I agree that we also get bikes from other bike shops that are in poor condition and need servicing, that s what happens when people ride bikes. But I strongly encourage anyone that is not 100% happy with one of our bikes to bring it down, take advantage of our 12 months warranty and get their bike sorted until they are fully satisfied with it.
As for our cranks, again I agree with you that they are fairly basic but we don't charge £1000 for our bikes like the shop you work for, and when things go wrong we sort everything out right away. Anyway those cranks were provided by our previous mechanic and if you read my previous posts we are waiting for our new range of track cranks.
You also mentioned about the spokes in the wheels with a possibility of snapping. To my knowledge I have never had any of my spokes snap.
Harry, we said this before and I am not sure what else you expect us to do? In a previous thread we have invited you to come and talk to us. Perhaps you'd like us to come and talk to you. Either way, why are you avoiding talking to us face to face and using this forum to slag us off when we are clearly trying to provide answers to all the points raised, etc.. We have Cytech certificates here, we are all passionate about what we do, we obviously don't want to compare ourselves with BLB or 14bike co. We want to provide affordable bikes for those that don't have the time, deep pockets or knowledge to build their own custom build.
If you guys have any more feedback we always welcome people to swing by the shop for a coffee and a chat,
dani

I was going to post this in the other FOFFA thread, but it seems to have disapeared, so I thought I'd better start a new one.
**Preface: **
All shops and mechanics cock up, and all shops spend a small part of their time fixing the work of other shops. this is to the best of my knowledge totaly normal. I know at BLB we have fixed jobs from every London shop, and I am sure all have fixed job from us. Its fairly standard practise.
have you checked with your bosses before posting this statement? doesn't this mean that blb have probably made the same mistake and you are not aware of it? if so your complaint about foffa is null and void. -

Hi all,
since this has been going on for a while now and we have clarified few of our points on previous threads, please refer to this thread:
http://www.lfgss.com/thread45498.html
Without having to repeat myself, we are always open for criticisms and invite you down to our shop so you can try our bikes out and let you judge them and our service for yourselves.
Cheers,
dani

Harry
I applaud you concern over cyclists. It's good to step up and prevent cyclists from getting injured or worse.
However as Danni has shown he is open to criticism it may have been worth PMing him before putting him on blast. If he had failed to recognise you concerns then maybe post about it. Dude sounds lie someone trying to run an honest business, although maybe not perfectly.
I think everyone in the community needs support. Eventually Foffa could grow to be a force. It looks like the kind of place introductory cyclists visit and god knows we need more of them.
Peace
